A few helpful things to know before your visit can be found below

Before Your Visit

My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, cared for, and beautifully yourself. To help make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible, I’ve answered a few common questions below. 

 

If you have questions that aren’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment? Outside of illness or true emergencies, I kindly ask for at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. As a solo stylist, appointment times are reserved specifically for you. Providing adequate notice allows me the opportunity to offer that time to another guest. If an appointment is canceled or significantly reduced without sufficient notice and the time cannot be filled, a nonrefundable deposit may be required to reserve future appointments. No-show appointments will be declined for future booking.

Do you require a deposit? Most appointments do not require a deposit. In some circumstances, such as after a missed appointment without notice, a nonrefundable deposit of up to 50% may be required to reserve future appointment times. Deposits are applied toward services received at your appointment. If services are canceled, rescheduled without sufficient notice, or significantly reduced, any remaining deposit balance is nonrefundable. I understand that life happens, and situations beyond your control will always be considered on a case-by-case basis.

What if I’m running late? A 15-minute grace period is provided for all appointments. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled or have services adjusted to fit within the remaining appointment time. If services must be shortened due to late arrival, the originally scheduled service price may still apply.

What if I’m sick on the day of my appointment? If you or a member of your household are experiencing symptoms of illness, please reach out to reschedule your appointment. The health and well-being of all guests, as well as my own family, remain a priority. I appreciate your understanding and consideration.

What if I’m unhappy with my service? Your satisfaction is important to me. If you have concerns regarding your service, please contact me within 7 days of your appointment so we can discuss an appropriate solution. Examples of services that may qualify for an adjustment include: • Refining a haircut • Adjusting tone • Blending a highlight line The service guarantee does not cover changes resulting from: • Use of non-professional or drugstore products • Failure to follow recommended home care instructions • Excessive heat styling • Chlorine, salt water, or environmental exposure • Washing sooner than recommended following a service The guarantee becomes void if: • Hair has been altered at home • Another stylist has performed additional services • Recommended aftercare instructions have not been followed For color and texture services, professional shampoo and conditioner purchased through my studio or recommended online storefront are required to maintain guarantee coverage. Sometimes a guest may discover that the requested haircut, color, or style does not feel as flattering or suitable as they had hoped. While I’m always happy to discuss possible solutions, changes based solely on personal preference or a change of heart are considered a new service and are not covered under the service guarantee.

What if my hair goals exceed my budget? Some hair goals require multiple appointments to achieve safely and realistically. During your consultation, I will always be honest about what can be accomplished, how long the process may take, and the investment involved. If you’re working within a specific beauty budget, please let me know. There is never any shame in having a budget. Together, we’ll create a plan that gets you as close as possible to your goals while honoring your priorities.

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment? To help maintain a calm, relaxing environment for every guest, I kindly ask that no additional guests or children attend appointments unless they are also receiving a service. I understand that life happens, and there may be occasions when having someone accompany you is necessary. In those situations, one accompanying adult is welcome. If possible, please let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly

Are service animals welcome? Absolutely. I am an equal opportunity Fan-o-Fur (if it has 4 paws and fur I typically want to be friends) Trained support and service animals are welcome in the studio.

Can I request a silent appointment? Of course. Whether you need a quiet place to recharge, time to read, or simply prefer a more peaceful appointment experience, silent appointments are always available upon request.
